- Type N for Neapolitan; use Roman numerals for other chords (Examples: N6, V43, viio65/iv)
- Use upper-case Roman numerals for major chords; lower-case for minor and diminished chords.
- Use o (lower-case "o") for diminished and half-diminished chords.
- Be careful: some chords are borrowed, while others are secondary dominants.
